Vicki Smith - Artistic Director, Teacher, Choreographer, Director

Vicki is a professional choreographer, director, producer, teacher, and performer. She has been dancing since the age of 2 and her performing travels have taken her throughout the US, Europe, and South America. She has appeared in an HBO Special, National Tours, Regional theatre, TV series, Las Vegas, Atlantic City. Her Theatre performing credits include, How to Succeed, Guys & Dolls, Carousel, Cabaret, Sweet Charity, Music Man, King & I, Fiddler on the Roof, Mame, and more. Special Events-Choreography, Directing, and Production - USA Gymnastics Trials for Barcelona; Six Flags Corp; Towson University - Pendragon's Lords of Illusion; Cunard Cruise Ships; Recording Artists – Children’s Guild Kids Cabaret Hippodrome Theatre, Baltimore, Industrials for McDonald's, DuPont, Anheuser Busch, Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, American Lung Association, Cystic Fibrosis, The Annapolis Chorale.

Group recipient of the Ruby Griffith Awards for outstanding achievement in a Musical for Mame and Guys and Dolls. Numerous Platinum and Gold Awards for her choreography at local and National dance competitions.

Locally her work has been seen at TMC, Merely Players, Annapolis Summer Garden Theatre, 2nd Star Productions, she has been active in the Anne Arundel County Public School system where she has choreographed and directed musicals for Crofton Middle School, Ridgeway Elementary, Severna Park Middle, South River High School's Dance team, Monarch Academy Baltimore City. Currently she is on staff at Anne Arundel Community College for continuing education, the Children’s Guild, Performing Arts Specialist. Owner and Artistic director of StageWorkz Theatre Arts Project Millersvile, Md. Although she has trained with the best, the master of them all Bobbi Smith taught her everything she knows.

Bobby Smith - Rhythm Tap 

Bobby has received 9 Helen Hayes nominations for excellence in Washington, DC area theater. He has been teaching for over 15 years and and had directed and choreographed for colleges and regional theatre across the nation.
His credits include: Broadway in Crazy for You. Off Broadway: Forever Plaid (original cast), Kander and Ebb’s The World Goes ‘Round, and the revival of George Gershwin’s Of Thee I Sing. Amy Sonntag, Broadway Tap 

Amy is excited to be back to where she learned it all! Since leaving StageWorkz many moons ago, Amy has received her BM in Musical Theatre from the Catholic University, performed at Disney World, and performed all over the world with Feld Entertainment's Disney Live. After three years of performing with Disney Live, Amy went on to become a Performance Director for the cmpany. Tourin is great, but Amy missed having a 'normal life' and is thrilled to be back in the area. Since returning she has performed with Toby's Dinner Theatre, taught with Columbia Center for her Masters. She loves sharing her love of dance and muscial theatre with kids - especially at Talent Machine and StageWorkz where she learned everything she knows! Catch the Energy

Vadim Bogomolov, Classical Ballet - Technique

Vadim Bogomolov graduated in 1984 from the Vaganova Choreographic Institute of St. Petersburg, Russia, where he studied under Professor Yuri Omrikin.  As a professional dancer with the National Ballet of Kazakhstan and the New Classical Ballet of Moscow, Vadim toured Europe and Asia dancing in ballets such as Paquita, Don Quixote, and The Nutcracker

After traveling the U.S. on "The Great Russian Nutcracker" tour, Vadim accepted positions as a principal dancer with Classical Ballet of California and Manassas Dance Theatre. In 2012 Vadim completed the program in ballet pedagogy (teaching) at the Moscow State Choreographic Institute and was granted the title of "Ballet Master." He lives in Fredericksburg, Virginia where he is co-director of Classical Ballet of Fredericksburg.

Megan Neale Pistolas - Jazz - Contemporary 

Megan started dancing at the age of 5 years old. She studied and competed in several areas of dance including jazz, lyrical, ballet, tap, contemporary, and musical theatre. Her accolades include many regional and national titles and placing as a top 10 soloist , as well as receiving the Maryland distinguished scholarship for the arts . She also has traveled the country performing in New York , Las Vegas, Myrtle beach , Florida, Texas , and Washington D.C.


Megan since then went on to teaching and choreographing at C and C Dance Company and is in her eleventh year of teaching . Many of her students have won countless judges awards, special awards, scholarships, cash awards and overall high score awards at many regional and national dance competitions.


Megan’s experience extends beyond Dance as she studied Early Childhood Education and has a seven year tenure working with toddler, pre-school, and school age children at childhood development centers in the Maryland and Delaware area. Megan continues her passion for the art of movement through teaching and choreographing at C and C dance Company and is now excited to be with you at StageWorkz!


Lauren Montoya -  Pre-Pointe, Pointe, Creative Dance and Beginner Ballet

Lauren was born in Baltimore and began her training at White Marsh Ballet Academy under the direction of Sandra Prehoda and Shari Vazquez.  She then went on to study at the Baltimore School for the Arts under Norma Pera.  She also worked with guest artists such as Judith Figure,  Jim Orsorno and the choreographers from Hairspray.  After that she studied dance at Towson University. She has guest performed for Florida Ballet Arts Academy, as well as trained at Washington Ballet and Cumberland Ballet.  She danced with Ballet Theatre of Maryland for two seasons.  She lives with her husband and three daughters in Arnold.

Andrew Gordon - Show Tap

An electrical engineer by day, Andrew is the recipient of the WATCH Awards for Best Choreography in last Summer's Crazy For You with the Annapolis Summer Garden Theatre and Best Music Direction for Nine with Colonial Players, having received previous nominations for his choreography in Singin' in the Rain, The Music Man, Mary Poppins and Guys and Dolls. Also a classically trained pianist, Andrew's musical theatre compositions have premiered locally at The Kennedy Center, Signature Theatre, and NYC's 54 Below. He is both a Stageworkz and Talent Machine Company alum, having studied under the incomparable Vicki Smith. Stage credits include Chicago, The Producers, Evita, Can-Can and West Side Story at New York University. Andrew holds a BS in Mathematics and will be completing his MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering this Fall.

Gabriel Needle - Jazz/Contempory

Gabe started training in dance at Stageworkx before moving into competition dance. He has won several national titles and received   scholarships to many dance programs across the country. He went on to study dance at the University of Michigan and UMBC where he trained in tap, jazz, ballet, Graham, Humphrey, Horton, Taylor, and Gaga. See you in class!

Sim Rivers - Improv, Acting Technique 

Sim Rivers is a Theatre Educator and Artist based in the Baltimore/D.C. area. A graduate of UMBC with degrees in Theatre Studies and Media Studies, he has worked with Stageworkz Theatre Arts Project, The Talent Machine Company, The Drama Learning Center, Imagination Stage, Destination ImagiNation, and Anne Arundel County Public Schools, teaching improv and musical theatre. He has performed improv for many years with groups such as Baltimore Improv Group, Charm City Comedy Project, and his alma mater’s improv troupe Dog-Collar Comedy, which he helped found in 2013.

Cyndi Wallman - Private Vocals

For Cyndi music is as essential as breathing. Whether studying, performing, or teaching, it has been her lifelong passion from her early days of classical voice training at the Peabody Institute to the present. She has honed her skills and entertained audiences around the world.Through the years music has opened many doors. She has had the great honor of sharing the stage with great entertainers like Sammy Davis, Jr., Victor Borge, Johnny Cash, among others. Cyndi and her husband, Roy, have been performing together for many years. Along with their group they toured the U.S. and abroad for quite a few years. Their onstage performances led to their first album release "Cyndi & Roy" "Feel It" released on the Casablanca label along with artists like Donna Summer, Cher, and Kiss.Many hours of studio experience has led toa numerous local, regional and national commercials. Cyndi is also a long time member in good standing of AFTRA and ASCAP.

After traveling for so many years she decided to share her professional expertise with others, and over the past 11 years she has been instructing students of all ages and is currently the vocal coach for Stageworkz School of Performing Arts and musical director for the esteemed Talent Machine Company.  Her main focus is to recognize and develop talent, all the while inspiring confidence. She believes in breathing life into the music.Cyndi considers sharing music one of her most rewarding contributions. And most of all wants everyone to have fun learning.

Laura Snow - Classical Ballet - Pointe

For over 20yrs, Laura Snow has taught classical ballet to all levels and ages at various local studios. Her primary training was with Ballet Theatre of Maryland, where she became a soloist dancer and instructor. She has worked with many great artists including Conrad Ludlow, Attila Ficzere, Bene Arnold, John Clifford, Bruce Caldwell, and Janice Barringer. Laura received the Maryland Distinguished Scholarship for Dance, danced as a scholarship student with Utah Ballet, and earned a B.F.A. in Ballet from the University of Utah. She has danced major roles on stage including The Nutcracker Grand Pas de Deux, Giselle Peasant Pas de Deux, Flower Festival Pas de Deux as well as leading roles in Raymonda, Le Corsaire, La Fille Mal Gardee and The Four Seasons. Many of Laura's students are now performing and teaching in professional companies. Laura looks forward to joining the Stageworkz faculty and continuing to properly train, guide and inspire young artists of today.


Heather Harris (She/Her/Hers)

Independent Teaching Artist | Dance, Musical Theatre



Singing and dancing since childhood, Heather has dedicated herself to sharing her joy and love of all things theatrical with a new generation of performers. Heather has graced stages all over the DMV area and began work as a choreographer and director for area high schools and community theatres in 2010. She studied musical theatre, voice, and dance at Carnegie Mellon University and Anne Arundel Community College and is a graduate of Suitland High School for the Visual and Performing Arts in Prince George’s County. In addition to her work here at Stageworkz, Heather can be found teaching both dance and musical theatre throughout Anne Arundel and Prince George’s County.
