A History of Excellence

Stageworkz Theatre Arts Project is brought to you by a professional staff whose credits range from HBO specials, Broadway, National Tours, Regional Theatre Industrials, The White House, music videos, movies, TV, Debbie Allen, Alvin Alley, Washington Ballet, Dance Masters, soap operas, and more. All our educators are master teachers and specialize in their own field of the performing arts. We take pride in offering the finest performing arts education while providing a friendly, nurturing atmosphere. We will challenge the students through committed and professional teachers who are contagiously enthusiastic about their profession.

At Stageworkz Theatre Arts Project, we have several courses to choose from. All dance classes are designed for different age groups from 2 to 18 with all levels. Whether for fun or to help assist with college acceptance or even income-producing opportunities, all classes have the right elements of instruction and fun while promoting the students’ self confidence. We will encourage each student through voice, drama, and dance in achieving their goals.

Stageworkz students have been accepted and received full scholarships in both Musical Theatre and Dance to New York University, Baltimore School for the Arts, Duke Ellington School for the Performing Arts, Elan, Carnegie Mellon, Catholic University, American University, Chapman, University of Michigan, Shenandoah University, Northwestern University, University of Maryland, Ballet Theatre of Maryland, American Music and dramatic Arts, Merry Mount College, Georgetown, Virginia Tech, NYU, Penn State, Hofstra, University of Arizona, and many more. 

Stageworkz students and alumni have performed on national tours, Broadway, TV, film, and regional and professional theatre! We are so proud of our students’ accomplishments.
